SHIPPING POLICY
At Four Gilded Threads, we prioritize transparent shipping practices. As most of our products are made to order, we place supplier orders every Monday at 8:00 PM ET. Production timelines vary from 1-4 weeks depending on our small-business suppliers, inventory, and if the product is hand-made.

Shipping Times

  • Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days (U.S.).
  • Expedited Shipping: 1-3 business days.


Shipping Schedule

  • Orders containing multiple items will ship together, and shipments are dispatched every Tuesday.
  • While we aim for timely delivery, unforeseen delays from carriers or external circumstances may occur.

Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your shipment.

International Shipping
We currently do not ship internationally at the monment.  


TAXES
Sales Tax

  • As a Florida-based business, we are required to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses within Florida.
  • The sales tax rate applied to your order includes Florida’s base sales tax and any applicable county surtaxes, based on the destination address.


Tax on Shipping

  • In Florida, shipping charges are taxable if part of the sale. Sales tax will be applied to both the product price and shipping costs for orders delivered within Florida.


Out-of-State Orders

  • For orders shipped outside of Florida, we do not collect sales tax. However, customers may be responsible for paying use tax in their state.


Use Tax

  • What is Use Tax? Use tax is a tax on out-of-state purchases where sales tax was not collected at the time of purchase.
  • Buyer Responsibility: If you live outside Florida and purchase from us, you may need to report and pay use tax directly to your state’s tax authority.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
At Four Gilded Threads, we accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of receiving your package.

First Return on a Purchase
Your first return for each purchase will include a prepaid return label.

Additional Returns
For additional returns from the same purchase, shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

Conditions for Returns

  • Items must be unused and free from signs of wear (e.g., makeup or deodorant stains).
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.


Return Inspections
All returns are thoroughly inspected. If a return is not accepted:

  • We cannot ship the item(s) back to you.
  • The original shipping cost will not be refunded.


Refunds

  • Refunds include the product price and any sales tax collected.
  • Shipping fees, if taxable, will only be refunded if the return is due to our error.


Exchanges
Exchanges are available for size or color, subject to stock availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be issued.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email fourgildedthreads@gmail.com within 7 days with photos. We’ll provide a replacement or refund.

Orders can be modified or canceled within 24 hours of placement.

Pricing
All prices are subject to change without notice. Promotions and discounts cannot be applied to past purchases.

Custom or personalized items require additional processing time and are non-returnable.

Liability
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather, carrier errors, or customs processing.

DESIGN POLICY
All designs produced under the Four Gilded Threads LLC brand—whether custom apparel, accessories, or other merchandise—are exclusively owned by Four Gilded Threads. This includes:

  • Artwork
  • Logos
  • Finished Products


Design Ownership

All original content, including but not limited to product designs, garment graphics, typography layouts, website visuals, photography, and digital illustrations featured on this Site, are the intellectual property of Four Gilded Threads LLC and are protected by applicable U.S. and international copyright laws.  All designs have been approved by the schools and sororities.

 

You may not use, reproduce, republish, alter, or distribute our original designs or digital content without our prior written permission.

Use of Collegiate Logos & Trademarks

The collegiate logos, names, mascots, or marks featured on our products are used under license from the appropriate rights holder (such as the University or the Collegiate Licensing Company). These trademarks are the property of their respective institutions and are not owned by Four Gilded Threads LLC.

We are an officially licensed vendor and use these logos in accordance with our licensing agreements. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or resale of these trademarks without an active licensing agreement is strictly prohibited.


Protection of Intellectual Property

  • Legal Action: Four Gilded Threads LLC reserves the right to pursue legal action against any unauthorized use, reproduction, or sale of our designs, including those featuring collegiate branding.
  • License Enforcement: Any party wishing to use Four Gilded Threads LLC designs or collegiate branding must adhere to licensing agreements and receive explicit written permission.
  • Report to the licensing company: We reserve the right to submit your design to licensing companies if we deem it similar to ours or copying our designs and you are not officially licensed.  


Enforcement
This policy is effective immediately and applies to all designs created by Four Gilded Threads, including officially licensed collegiate products. By engaging with Four Gilded Threads, you acknowledge and agree to respect our design ownership rights and collegiate licensing agreements.

CHARGEBACK POLICY

At Four Gilded Threads, we are committed to providing a transparent and secure shopping experience. To prevent chargebacks and disputes, please review our policy below.

1. Fraud Prevention

  • All transactions must use accurate billing and shipping information.
  • We may request additional verification for high-value or suspicious orders.
  • We actively monitor and report fraudulent transactions.

2. Chargeback Disputes

If a chargeback is filed against us, we will submit the following to dispute the claim:

  • Order confirmation and proof of payment.
  • Shipment tracking and delivery confirmation.
  • Any customer communication regarding the order.

3. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your payment was unauthorized, please contact us immediately at fourgildedthreads@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

4. Refund & Return Compliance

Customers must follow our Return & Refund Policy before requesting a chargeback. We do not process refunds for:

  • Orders that have already shipped or been delivered.
  • Custom, final sale, or personalized items.
  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

5. Fraudulent Chargebacks & Consequences

Filing a false chargeback is considered theft and may result in:

  • Legal action or reporting to authorities.
  • A permanent ban from future purchases.
  • Collection agency involvement to recover disputed funds.

By making a purchase from Four Gilded Threads, you agree to these terms and commit to resolving disputes with us before filing a chargeback.
